One of the British company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Network Engineer – TETRA Secure Radio (SMR) as per the attached JD urgently.
Network Engineer TETRA Secure Radio – SMR:
Annual Salary: Rs. 1 30 000 p.m.(negotiable based on experience)
Accommodation: 25% of basic salary.
Transport: Car provided or 10% of basic
Annual Leave: 25 working days.
Ticket: 1 Per year.
Medical: Provided.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS
The role holder shall be based in the Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) and shall perform level 3 technical support activities in support of the three regional control centre’s (RCC’s). The role holder will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the SANGCOM network and to provide the highest quality of service to SANGCOM in accordance with the contractual requirements within the Scope of Services. The prime objectives and functions of the role holder will include the following:
1. Responsible for providing Level 3 Technical Support for Motorola Dimetra Secure Mobile Radio (SMR)
TETRA to the Regional Control Centres (RCC) in order to maintain the integrity of the SANGCOM
Network.
2. Take lead role in supervision of RCC staff and FT’s during major network incidents or investigations.
3. Implementation of company process and procedures.
4. To carry out in-depth root cause analysis investigations for all SMR Major Service Outages (MSO) &
network incidents.
5. To submit technical reports appertaining to major network incidents or investigations.
6. Deploy Kingdom-wide whenever instructed by GPT Central Management to assist on major network
incidents or projects.
7. To carry out level 2 multi-skilled on-the-job training (OJT) whenever required for GPT managed services field technicians.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for providing level 3 technical support on all SMR issues to the RCC’s in accordance with KPI objectives and to ensure service affecting outages are minimised.
2. Take lead role in supervision of RCC and teams of FT’s during major network incidents or investigations.
3. Implementation of company process and procedures.
4. To submit technical reports which identify root cause & recommendations appertaining to major network incidents within the agreed time scales by the Network Manager.
5. To review approve and issue network performance reports including:
· Daily RCC & Weekly TC reports
· Major Service Outage (MSO) & Fault investigative reports
· Monthly performance reports & Traffic Analysis
5. Whenever required deliver on-the-job training for GPT field technicians on level 1 and 2 maintenance
activities and element management system operation.
6 Able and willing to provide technical support nationwide out of normal working hours as directed by GPT
Central Management.
8. Deploy to Regional Control Centres (RCC’s) whenever instructed by GPT Central Management at short
notice.
9. Conduct periodic performance meetings with Sub-Contractors.
10. Must be a proactive team player and capable of working on their own initiative.
