RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As Analyst in pension plan administration at Company you will participate in planning organizing and carrying out work related to managing our clients’ pension plans.
- You will calculate various benefits associated with life events in accordance with current legislation.
- You will update databases and members’ files.
- You will be involved in the production of annual statements and other related reports.
- You will have the opportunity to use your customer service skills since you will respond to requests by clients members and trustees by communicating pertinent information.
- You will also be asked to perform PAR and PA calculations and pension indexation.
- Moreover you will be given the opportunity to update your knowledge of pension plan administration by participating in interesting training sessions offered by Company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in actuarial science mathematics statistics administration or finance.
- Aptitude for working in a computerized environment (Windows NT) and good knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail initiative organization and professionalism.
- Flexibility availability and ability to work under pressure while managing own priorities.
- Enthusiasm team spirit and ability to work without supervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and French.
- Good learning skills and good professional judgment.
- Good customer service skills and ability to popularize.
- Proven creative problem solving skills.
- Aptitude for programming and six months experience in pension plans would be considered an asset.
