RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The incumbent works in a team environment to provide asset-liability risk management consulting services to clients maintains and develops client relationships and supervises the work of other team members.
- Works with current and prospective clients to identify and address asset-liability risk management issues.
- Prepares and supervises analysis work for selecting investment managers and assessing their performance as well as developing policies and procedures to manage asset-liability risk.
- Attends client meetings prepares reports and makes presentations to clients.
- Builds and maintains excellent relationships with clients through client meetings office visits and social functions.
- Supervises and mentors other team members.
- Acts as a resource for asset-liability risk management in the Atlantic Region.
- Communicates with other consultants in the company to share best practices and improve analysis tools.
- Attends external training and industry conferences to maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices to be shared with clients team members and other consultants in the company.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- A minimum of eight-years of relevant business experience.
- FSA and/or FCIA designation or very near completion of requirements.
- Excellent communication project management and presentation skills.
- Highly organized self-starter flexible and independent.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and coach other team members.
- A good understanding of personal computers and software particularly MS Office including Visual Basic.
- Bilingual (English and French)
