The above mentioned position is for One of the Client of Meru Consultants and Technologies private limited, who are into mobile retail.


Location: Based out of Chennai.

Industry: Retail/Telecom Age group:35-40 Year of experience:12+

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Formulate a marketing strategy for the company in line with the business objectives
Analyze market trends, recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
2.Develop channel promotion/branding strategy and develop a marketing plan in consonance with market potential and opportunities
3.Track the brand performance and profitability based on research on parameters such as brand awareness, brand recall etc.
4.Work closely with Sales and Operations team to evaluate feasibility of specific events in terms of target group, potential revenue, projected costs etc.
5.Oversee event conceptualization and smooth implementation to ensure that the events generate ROI and enhance visibility for the brand.
6.Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, existing and potential brand partners and other key contacts in media and other sectors
7.Participate in various trade events and trade fairs
8.Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team’s capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for the role

Profile, Skills and Knowledge:

· MBA / Post Graduation in Marketing Management with 12+ years of experience in Marketing
· Exposure to Retail and Telecom industry
· Must possess excellent planning, organizing skills and time management skills
· Highly creative and enthusiastic
· Ability to work on tight deadlines
· Good oral and written communication skills
