An exciting opportunity currently exists in our growing Hong Kong office to become part of our growing team of world class risk consultants undertaking projects in Hong Kong, Asia Pacific and worldwide.
ERM Hong Kong is seeking candidates to help grow the business in the field of Process Safety, Risk and Reliability Assessment and with the potential to become one of our top consultants. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in hazard identification and risk assessment studies (including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, and RAM studies) for process plants in the field of oil and gas (including offshore), refinery, chemicals and petrochemicals. The position also requires an energetic candidate who is motivated to travel on a regular basis.
Candidates must also have relevant experience in the following areas:
• Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
• Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
• Reliability assessment
• Safety case
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in chemical, preferably with a post-graduate qualification, from a reputable university in chemical engineering, mathematics, physics or fluid mechanics. Mechanical engineering or Electrical Engineering may also be considered.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in risk assessment or design safety engineering; and/ or 5 or more years of experience in plant operations or process design;
• Demonstrate experience in project management and client liaison
• Excellent communication skills and academic qualifications
• Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
• Motivated to travel on a region-wide and worldwide basis regularly to meet client needs; (Travel may be extensive on some projects)
• Candidates must be motivated, independent individuals with initiative, who can work autonomously and are committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients
